• Provide RMS with your CPA’s name and phone number so that
    we can discuss your needs with them.

  • Review the RMS chart of accounts and provide input/suggestions

  • Review your management system and how you use it with RMS

  •  Reports/lists
  •  Vendor list including account # and discount terms
  •  Monthly recurring expense list
  •  A/P & A/R detail ledgers matching account balances upon
    cut-off date
  •  Balance Sheet & Income Statement & Trial Balance per
    cut-off date
  •  B/S & I/S for the prior three years
  •  Depreciation schedules

  •  Review checks for compatibility

  •  Set up zero balance/auto transfer petty cash account with
    manual checks

  •  Determine if you want to sign your own checks

  •  Provide remote access to your management system

  •  Set up RMS as an online read-only for your bank account

  •  Any “cheat sheets” you have developed, including Payroll,
    Vacation, etc.

  •  Discuss cash management

  •  Set up Line of Credit if necessary

  •  Discuss estimated taxes and sales tax submission

  •  Contract with a 3rd party payroll provider to eliminate the need
    for a high level in-house accountant
